This is the best bookstore I have been to in a long time. Not only are there books on nearly every conceivable subject, they have an excellent, extensive games section with both classics and new releases. Downstairs you will also find sheet music and CDs. In the far back of the store is a cozy children's section with everything from Shakespeare to Harry Potter in formats sure to engage.

Heffers: the great Cambridge bookseller

Heffers has been trading in Cambridge since 1876. Now part of the Blackwell's family, we are located opposite Trinity College and sell an amazing array of fiction and non-fiction titles - plus music and stationery and the probably the best range of board games in the country! We also have our own dedicated Children's department; a lovely bright space filled with thousands of books.  Our friendly booksellers are on hand to help you with your choices if you're not sure where to start. We also have a fantastic year-round events programme, featuring both well-known and debut authors, children's activities and games nights.

No trip to the city is complete without visiting Heffers!

(We love bricks and mortar bookshops but if you can't get here in person, you can also order online.)
